High quality must prove itself even under the toughest conditions. Our test workshop is one such endurance test. MARTOR quality experts test our products from prototype to series model – and compare them. This provides us with valuable insights for optimisation and at the same time makes our quality leadership "measurable".

ENDURANCE TEST FOR OUR PRODUCTS

Our various stations are inspired by the testing procedures of leading testing institutes – and we like to go the extra mile. The products undergo hardness and endurance tests to ensure that they meet the highest requirements in practical use.

01. Endurance test bench Safety

Safety technology is a key component of our safety knives. You need to be able to rely on it in every situation. That's why all components relevant to safety technology are "abused" over a long period of time. With the SECUPRO 625 shown here, for example, the focus is on ensuring that the fully automatic blade retraction works 100% reliably.

02. Drop test

You know how it is in practice. A tool falls to the floor and parts are immediately deformed or broken off. With a high-quality brand like MARTOR, this must not happen... which is why we conduct countless drop tests from considerable heights. Here too, our cutting tools demonstrate that form and function set standards.

03. Blade service life

Our quality blades demonstrate their performance in cutting tests. Even after cutting many metres of material, they must retain their sharpness so that the work remains easy. We measure the force curve for different materials, thereby squeezing out every last percentage point of improvement potential.

04. ENDURANCE TEST BENCH IN CLIMATE CHAMBER

No matter how well our cutting tools have already proven themselves, they must repeat their top performance in extreme cold and heat. The drop test must also be passed with a heated or cooled product.

05. Stress test

During professional cutting, significant forces act on the entire tool. We test both vertical and horizontal loads in the laboratory – and are only satisfied when our safety knives can easily withstand them all.
