German Blade Museum: A connection that has grown over decades

MARTOR has a longstanding connection with the German Blade Museum in Solingen through its own history and expertise. This is another reason why it makes sense to actively support the museum's association of friends. In doing so, we want to show our appreciation for the city's cultural heritage.

The German Blade Museum symbolizes the history, craftsmanship, and identity of Solingen. Here, the centuries-old tradition of the blade city is preserved, brought to life, and carried into the future—from precision craftsmanship to modern cutlery design.

With this financial contribution, MARTOR hopes to help ensure that this tradition can be maintained in the future and made accessible to the public. Specifically, the support is intended to promote the museum's ongoing projects and enable future exhibitions and educational programs.

A place like the Blade Museum is an essential component of the local and, in this case, supraregional cultural offering. Culture connects people, strengthens the community, and preserves values that have an impact far beyond generations. That is also our concern. In addition, MARTOR is part of the museum's ongoing exhibition.
