Double Recognition for martor.com
At the German Brand Award 2026—one of the most prestigious awards for holistic brand management in the German-speaking world—MARTOR KG’s new corporate website received two awards on June 25, 2026, in Berlin: a Gold award in the “Brand Communication | Web & Mobile” category and the Winner Award in the “Digital Brand Experience” category.
An award that carries weight –
1,676 entries from 18 countries
Initiated by the German Design Council, Germany’s leading authority on design since 1953, the award recognizes outstanding brand work—evaluated by an independent, 17-member jury of experts based on the criteria of brand positioning, differentiation, and implementation. Out of a total of 1,676 submissions from 18 countries, martor.com is among the projects that received a Gold award—an honor that is typically awarded only once per category.

The jury's statement:
A brand platform instead of a product catalog
The jury sums it up: “While technical products often get lost in features and technical data sheets, MARTOR digital focuses on real-world usage scenarios. ‘martor.com – Digital Brand Experience’ consistently organizes content, services, and access to products according to different target groups, thereby creating a brand platform rather than a mere product catalog. Interactive presentations, editorial formats, and guided user journeys give the topic of security in the digital space a tangible form. The result is a website that combines brand identity, guidance, and service into a well-rounded overall experience.”
Anniversary Celebration in Berlin
The awards ceremony took place as part of the 10th anniversary of the German Brand Award. What began in 2016 with 250 guests at the VW DRIVE Forum in Berlin brought together more than 750 guests from 18 countries at the Uber Eats Music Hall this year—impressive proof of the award’s growing significance as a cross-industry platform for successful brand management.
Achieved together—celebrated together
The award was accepted by Kerstin Göbel, Head of Brand Management at MARTOR KG, together with Erik Breit, Managing Partner of Pechschwarz GmbH, which implemented the website project as an agency partner alongside MARTOR.
“Powerful digital brand experiences are created when strategy, design, and technology are consistently integrated. That was exactly the idea behind this project from the very beginning,” said Kerstin Göbel regarding the award.
This success is the result of cross-functional collaboration between Brand Management, Marketing, Product Management, and eBusiness at MARTOR, as well as the agency Pechschwarz GmbH.
